That's really all we can say right now. Thank you. CHAINSAW was a fantastic success, and it's all because of you. The campaign has finished with 1,050 backers who have raised over $66,600 in funds. You all are INCREDIBLE.
And yes, that means this horror game has been funded at exactly 666% the original goal, which is mind-blowing for many reasons. The horror gods have smiled upon CHAINSAW this day!
Thank you for believing in CHAINSAW, in it's creators, and in this campaign. From the depths of our abyssal hearts, we are grateful for you. We appreciate you more than you'll ever know for participating in this ritual of creation.
🎈Project Timeline🎈
We took a moment to catch our breath, but now it's time to get to what you've all been waiting for. Below is a living version of our timeline, and it will be updated as the campaign goes onward.
Communication is important to us, and because of that, you can expect regular monthly updates from here throughout the process. This will include gradually deeper glimpses of the campaign's contents, as well as our transparent look at the timeline as it continues to evolve.
Playtest Packet – In the next month or two, we'll be revealing our first offering in the form of a playtest packet. This will be enough to get started playing CHAINSAW, and you will be given the opportunity to provide feedback that will shape the development of the game.
As development continues, all backers will enjoy the first glimpse of the playtest materials, zines, and the rest as they all come together. Others outside this circle will have a chance to playtest eventually, but it will be after the backers have had plenty of time with the material.
Printing and Fullfillment – We are aiming to send everything to print around April or May. Fulfillment is planned a few months after that, and the goal is to have everything in your hands in time for spooky season of next year (October 2025).
This timeline is only a work in progress right now, and will become more solid as things progress. If we hit any snags or obstacles, you'll be the first to know.

The best way to join the discussion is to hop into our newly renovated Discord server. It's fresh and empty, but the skeleton is there on which our community will be built. That's the best place to get all your questions out about the game and talk about what will be in the book. Join in and let's talk games and horror movies!
I promise we don't bite. (But be careful of masked psychopaths with knives, as always.)

This has been incredible. We've passed the stretch goal at $55K and have unlocked Witching Hour, a 16+ page Nightmare Scenario Zine! This one is going to be spooky as hell, and we can't wait for you to get your claws on it. The frightening physical version is available now as an Add-On and is included automatically in the Bloodbath All-In Tier.

We can't wait to show you what lies ahead, but first, let's see where we stand. We smashed through $20K in the first 24 hours, unlocking a couple different things:

CHAINSAW Patch (Unlocked at $20K) – 4" wide embroidered black & red patch, iron-on backing. Included in Bloodbath Tier or as an Add-On for all other pledge levels.

What do BLOODBATH (ALL-IN) TIER backers receive?
As the campaign goes on, BLOODBATH backers will automatically get everything added to their bundle (including ALLphysical stretch goals and add-ons). It's for the true horror fan or anyone with a phobia of missing out!
Every Bloodbath backer will get their name on the Chainsaw Poster! Remember, all First 48 Hour backers are getting the exclusive version for free!
Additionally, Bloodbath backers will now have their choice of cover (Standard or Collector's).
